School Milk
All children at Parkside can have milk provided daily.
The governing body has decided that the majority of milk will be provided at cost price. This is to minimise the amount of milk ordered and not drunk. This will allow the school budget to be used to fund other aspects of school provision. School will never make a charge for the administration of supplying milk.
All children under the age of 5 are entitled to free milk on each school day. Children who turn 5 during a term are eligible to pay for the whole term. All children in Y1-Y6 will be required to pay for milk.
Children from families in receipt of specific benefits that qualify for Free School Meals will be provided milk at school without charge.
If you would like your child to have milk every day, please visit the School Milk UK website at
www.school.milk.co.uk for details on how this scheme works and how to register.
