In English this half term our non-fiction writing will be based on our history topic; Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. We will be writing a battle speech as Vikings. Our second piece of writing this half term will be based around our reading for this half term; Beowulf.

Reading

In reading this half term we will be reading Beowulf by Michael Morpurgo, We will be focusing in on our inference and retrieval skills. 

Maths

In maths this half term, we will be continuing our decimal and percentages unit. We will also be looking at area and perimeter and statistics.

Religious Education

In RE this unit we are looking at forgiveness. We will be looking at the importance of forgiveness in christianity and the importance of saying 'sorry'.
